Following a devastating family loss, the Deetz family decides to come back to their roots in Winter River. Despite their attempts to move on, Lydia finds herself still tormented by the mischievous spirit, Beetlejuice. Things take a drastic turn for the worse when Lydia's daughter, Astrid, unknowingly unlocks a doorway to the Afterlife, causing chaos and upheaval in their lives.
