The Rookie (2018)

Beginning anew can be quite challenging, particularly for John Nolan, a humble individual hailing from a small town. After experiencing a transformative event, he is now wholeheartedly dedicated to realizing his lifelong aspiration of joining the prestigious ranks of the LAPD. Being the oldest rookie in the force, John inevitably encounters doubt and skepticism from certain higher-ranking officials, who view him as nothing more than a walking embodiment of a midlife crisis.
