Pati (2023)

Pati finds herself in dire straits once more as the electricity gets cut off in the apartment she shares with her younger siblings and neglectful mother, Julita. Struggling with unpaid rent, Pati's resolve contrasts sharply with Julita's escapism into alcohol and drugs. While her mother frequents bars, Pati aspires for a brighter future, anxiously awaiting acceptance into a prestigious culinary school in Sopot. Her situation worsens when Sony, the local drug dealer, demands repayment for Julita's debts. With help from Krystian, who harbors feelings for her, Pati manages to settle the debts, but Julita tragically returns to her destructive habits.
