Dupri unexpectedly enters the world of Carl and Molly, who have recently married and have created an ideal world for themselves. Dupree, a lazy man with a poetic mindset, has no intention of leaving his makeshift guest house. He was fired by his boss for going there for a week to be Carl's best man at Carl and Molly's wedding in Hawaii.
