17-year-old Veronica's life takes a completely different turn when she learns that she is pregnant. This news poses a threat to Veronica's career, her dreams for the future. After breaking up with her boyfriend and not ready to be a mother, Veronica decides to have an abortion. But since Veronica is underage, her parents have to give her permission for an abortion. Unable to get her family's approval for an abortion, Veronica needs to go to New Mexico 900 miles away to terminate her pregnancy. Desperate, Veronica takes a 14-hour journey with her best friend Bailey to get an abortion.
