The Storm Research Team, led by the beautiful and brave Jo, investigates the causes of the sudden hurricanes and hurricanes that constantly appear in various parts of America and develops systems to warn people. Bill, a former member of the group, has given up on this exciting quest and is about to marry a woman who is the exact opposite of his old love Joe. A tank full of sensitive sensors, Bill's invention, which the group calls Dorothy, must be thrown into a hose. The group asks Bill for help with this. When Joe, Bill and other members of the group are caught in a storm, they risk their lives and do everything they can to complete their mission. Former cinematographer Jan De Bont of Speed Trap fame created this special effects masterpiece from a screenplay by Michael Crichton. The film also broke a record, grossing $41 million in its first week of release in the United States.
