As the Technicians waged the Gulf War, Special Forces Commander Archie Gates (George Clooney), Sergeant Troy Chief Elgin (Ice Cube) and Private Conrad Vig (Spike Jonze) spent weeks doing nothing in their base camp. War tired and embarrassed people. An official ceasefire was declared. All of them can't wait to get out of this boring place as soon as possible. As the Americans evacuate the base and slowly prepare to return home, Trey, Chief, and Konrad unexpectedly seize a map showing the location of the gold bullion stolen from Kuwait by the Iraqi army. Archie, trying to decipher the map, decides to find this treasure.
