James Bond: A very wealthy oil tycoon named Robert King is murdered by an international terrorist. With nuclear weapons expert Christmas Jones (Denise Richards) with him, the mad terrorist sets out to take over the world. Tasked with protecting Elektra (Sophie Marceau), the beautiful daughter of a murdered oil tycoon, from possible danger, James Bond (Pierce Brosnan) travels to the Caspian Sea and Istanbul to stop the crazed terrorist. Meanwhile, Bond, who has started to cooperate with his nemesis Christmas Jones, is faced with a relentless war in a nuclear submarine cruising in the depths of the Bosphorus waters.
