The Lake House 2006

Feeling that it's time to change something in his life, Dr. Kate Forster (SANDRA BULLOCK) leaves her local Illinois hospital where she completed her internship and accepts a job at a busy Chicago hospital. The only thing he regrets is the beautiful house he rented. Before leaving for the city, Kate leaves a note in the mailbox for the next tenant of the house. In this note, he leaves his new address for the letters he received and explains that the mysterious paw prints on the door were there when he moved. When new tenant Alex arrives, the paw print is nowhere to be found. As Kate and Alex continue to correspond through the lake house mailbox, they discover that they have lived through two different years in incredible and unbelievable ways.
