"Don" Vito Corleone is the head of the Corleone Mafia family in New York. He is at his daughter's wedding event. Vito's youngest son, a decorated World War II Marine, Michael is also attending the wedding. Michael doesn't seem to be interested in being part of the family business. Vito is a powerful man, kind to everyone who respects him, but ruthless to those who do not.
