The story of Elise, Brenda, and Annie, who are dumped by their husbands for a younger woman but instead seek revenge instead of becoming depressed, is both inspiring and funny. The three women are very close friends from the university, and they even have one more friend in their group. Years after graduation, these women, each thrown in different directions, meet at the funeral of the fourth member of their group and discover that their lives are no different from each other. Then a sweet revenge war begins. The movie based on the novel by Olivia Goldsmith is a cult one. The death of Goldsmith, the author of the novel, who turns insecure, alcoholic, passive and plastic surgery addicted characters into warriors, died of a heart attack during a plastic surgery as a sad and ironic detail.
