The Deer Hunter 1978

Hunter is one of the films that best describes the post-Vietnam syndrome. It is the story of a few friends who want to believe that everything is over and everything will be okay after the war, and they cannot adapt to civilian life. As well as being an anti-war film with a devastating war on people, it's also a film that stands out for Michael Cimino's masterful work on the characters. The presence and skill of Robert De Niro, who went above and beyond to help the friend he fought and returned to the same city, should not be overstated. Meanwhile, the Russian roulette scene of the movie was praised and talked about, emphasizing the meaninglessness of war.
