Our book thief, during the Second World War, the girl named Liesel was given up to a family in a town in Germany when she was only 9 years old. Liesel loves this family very much and learns to read thanks to a boy named Max, who took shelter there during her stay at their home, and Liesel enjoys reading books very much. He has established a special bond with books. For Liesel, the only way to live this evil and dark war without thinking is to read a book. Max also enjoys reading with Liesel. As they read and finish new new books, they set off towards different dreams and worlds. But Max, who is Jewish, is always hiding in the basement and spends his days in fear.
