Radio host Dr. Emma Lloyd and her publisher fiancé, Michael, find it easier to get a New York City marriage license than to get a driver's license. After all, there are no exceptions or exams for this job. They think it's okay if they're both over 18 and not related. What they need to do to get married is to go to the municipality together and prepare and sign the necessary documents. During a radio broadcast, Emma deals the fatal blow to firefighter Patrick Sullivan's privacy by giving his listeners the usual haphazard descriptions of love. Patrick, who is not very conscious but still does not want to be exposed to malicious behavior and wants to give an answer, prepares and implements a perfect and unforgettable revenge plan when he learns from the newspaper that Emma will marry. . .
