After her mother's passing, manga artist Soriya embarks on a journey to her roots in Phnom Penh, seeking solace and creative inspiration. Settling into a decrepit apartment in Metta, a relic of the Khmer Rouge regime, she is embraced by her long-lost family members. However, as Soriya delves deeper into her ancestral home, she is plagued by haunting and gruesome visions that blur the line between past and present, reality and nightmare. It seems as though the ghosts of history are using her as a vessel to tell their tales of sorrow and bloodshed.
