Johnny Depp plays Benjamin Barker, who is wrongfully imprisoned and vows to take revenge not only for this brutal punishment, but also for the sad consequences of what happened to his wife and daughter, and Helena Bonham Carter plays Ms. Nellie Lovett, her obsessively determined accomplice. . Barker disguises himself as Sweeney Todd and returns to the old barbershop above Miss Lovett's bakery. Homebound Joanna is spotted by young sailor Anthony (Jamie Campbell Bower), who one day rescues Sweeney from the sea. Infatuated with a young girl, Anthony vows to save her and marry her. Meanwhile, Miss Lovett's pies soon became a hit in London and sales skyrocketed. Miss Lovett dreams of earning respect, marrying Sweeney and living by the sea. With them is Toby (Edward Sanders), ex-Pirelli's assistant, whom he will adopt. But Sweeney thinks of nothing but revenge; even if it hurts everyone or everything.
