II. The years of World War II in Brussels, 1941... Based on the true story of a young Jewish girl named Masha Defonseca, a family captured and exiled by the Nazi Gestapo. Before Masha's family was deported, she made a deal with a Belgian family to protect and care for their daughter. Fearing being caught after a while, Masha escapes from her family and embarks on a four-year journey full of chilling dangers, where she has to cross all of Europe on foot, from Belgium to Ukraine, to find her family. He survives in the forest thanks to wolves.
