The movie begins with footage of a group of people chasing an injured man through a snowy forest. After being chased for over an hour, Gideon has no idea why Carver and his men are following him. Despite being injured during this chase, Gideon knows how to avoid many difficulties. Meanwhile, he never misses an opportunity to cut Carver's men. The relentless chase seems to end when Gideon is caught by the builders at the railroad construction site, but Gideon deftly escapes the area, showing that this is no easy bite. As Carver approaches him, it becomes clear why Gideon is being followed. Gideon, a captain in the northern army, came to the home of Carver, a former colonel in the southern army, after the end of the war, and asked him to find out what the ammunition and ex-soldiers were. Meanwhile, enraged soldiers burned Carver's home, along with his wife and children. As the chase continues, the themes of an Indian by the water in the desert and a woman selling potions in the desert add a philosophical dimension to the event, causing both to question the next process. Finally meeting, Gideon and Carver end the movie with a surprise ending.
