British journalist Joe Strombel dies mysteriously. This follows the "Tarot Card" Strombelle murders that shook the city before his death. The investigation into the murders is interrupted by Strombel's death, and the mystery surrounding the case remains unsolved. Sondra, a journalism student, must complete Strombel's unfinished business. Sondra, a young but highly intelligent intern, learns important information about the murders while watching one of the performances by a magician named Sid Waterman. All tips - show Peter Lyman, a handsome English aristocrat. As Sondra deepens her research, an irresistible attraction develops between herself and Lyman.
