D.S.O. agent Leon S. Kennedy embarks on a mission to rescue Dr. Antonio Taylor from a group of kidnappers. However, his pursuit is unexpectedly hindered by the intervention of a mysterious woman. Meanwhile, B.S.A.A. agent Chris Redfield finds himself investigating a perplexing zombie outbreak in San Francisco, where the source of the infection remains elusive. Strangely enough, all the afflicted individuals share a common thread – recent visits to Alcatraz Island. Intrigued by this clue, Chris and his team venture to the island, only to encounter an entirely new and terrifying threat that awaits them there.
