Tessa is a young woman with leukemia who, after four years of chemotherapy, is diagnosed by doctors as incapable of recovery. Desperate to accept death, Tessa does not want to spend her last days in hospital treatment or pain. Deciding to evaluate this process with the moments that she can be with her loved ones, the young woman begins to prepare a list of what she wants to do before she dies. Adapted from Jenny Downham's Before I Die, the film is directed and directed by Ol Parker, who made his debut with Imagine Me and You.
