Hong Kong-based director Wong Kar Wai is shooting his first English-language film about heartache and the dramatic journey between new beginnings. A heartbroken Elizabeth (Norah Jones) decides to travel across America in search of something that can mend her broken heart, leaving behind everything in her life, her dream and emotionally close friend Jeremy (Jude Law). During their travels, she works as a waitress and meets gambler Leslie (Natalie Portman), who has more problems and problems than her own, cop Arnie (David Stratain) and her husband Sue Lynn (Rachel Weisz). ) and his father.
