Missing 1982

The film chronicles the disappearance of a young American, Charles, from Chile's junta, General Pinochet. Charles' wife, Beth, wants to investigate, but is rejected by everyone, including the US embassy. Charles' father, Ed, who is actually too nationalistic and patriotic, comes to the country to solve the mystery of his son's disappearance. Although he does not want to admit that Charles was dismissed for political reasons and that the US government was involved in the incident, he will face the facts day by day.
