In the midst of the Greek Sea during World War II, an Italian ship drops off a small group of soldiers on a remote island. Their task is to keep an eye out for enemy ships and defend the island if necessary. The village on the island appears deserted, giving the soldiers a false sense of security. However, their situation takes a drastic turn when their ship is suddenly attacked and destroyed by the enemy, leaving the soldiers stranded with no way to escape. The soldiers now face the harsh reality of being abandoned on the island, with no reinforcements or supplies to rely on.
