Parlez-moi de la pluie 2008

The film is about the conflict between men and women, satire and comedy intertwined in the south of France. This is the story of a feminist novelist (director Agnès Jaoui) who thinks of nothing but herself. Deciding to enter politics, Agatha returns to her hometown after her mother's death. An Algerian maid agrees to interview Karim and her sister's lover, Michel (Bakri), while making a documentary. The film takes us on a journey through our characters into relationships, sexual politics, family, adultery, feminism, filmmaking and politics.
