Legend of the Lost 1957

Paul Bonnard (Rossano Brazzi), who grew up reading his father's diaries and listening to his adventures; He sets out to find the bones of his father, who was lost in the Sahara desert, and to find the lost city of Ophir, filled with mysterious treasures that he wrote in his diaries. For this, he goes to Africa, namely Timbaktu. His goal is to cross the Sahara Desert, a place no one would think of going. To do this, he crosses paths with Joe Ocak (John Wayne), a guide who knows the Sahara Desert like the back of his hand. Of course, someone else will join in later. This is Dita (Sophie Loren), who does scientific work in Timbaktu, especially theft.
