Adam, a member of a nationalist group, meets Michalina, a left-wing activist in Warsaw, and they begin a passionate love affair. The love between the two forces them to be ostracized and opposed by their families and friends because they have different worldviews. But their love is tested by violent events and unexpected tragedies that erupt in the middle of an upcoming nationalist rally.
