The Gromberg family, which spans three generations, is successful in every aspect of life, but has problems within themselves. Grandpa Mitchell Gromberg wants to recover from the effects of a heart attack nearly a year ago and spend more time with his family. Taking their wives and brothers with them, they decide to go to his son Alex's house for dinner. For many years, there was a coldness between Alex and his father, who devoted his whole life not to repeat his father's mistakes. Meanwhile, Alex's own son is also plagued by the peculiar problems of his college years. Members of this strange family gather around the dinner table.
