Carl Hamilton tracks down terrorists who stole cutting-edge guided missiles from an international organization. However, before he can direct the missiles as he wishes, he gets into trouble and decides to escape. The missiles are scheduled to be sent to Somali peace politicians. A Swedish weapons technician has been kidnapped. The Swedish Prime Minister is committed to the case and agrees to hire a private security company for the rescue operation. The security company will be accompanied by Carl Hamilton, a Swedish observer. Hamilton is shaken by the fact that his years as a secret agent have turned him into a killing machine, and he wants to leave those bad memories behind. He meets a new woman and dreams of getting away from it all and living a happy life with her. They need to do what needs to be done as soon as possible in order to protect national interests and prevent the loss of innocent lives.
