Adapted from Charles Baxter's novel of the same name, the screenplay depicts the various effects love has on the lives of a group of people. Freeman will play Philosophy Professor Harry Scott in the movie. The play is directed by Oscar-winning director Robert Benton ("Kramer vs. Kramer").
