Dorian Gray 2009

Film Lord Henry focuses on the relationship between Dorian and evil/hedonism. Dorian's transformation from a good, handsome man begins with Lord Henry's words, and he sees his own beauty in his self-portrait. Dorian believes that there is nothing better than pleasure and sin, and that youth and beauty are more important than anything else in the world. Basil is clearly passionate about Dorian, who represents good. The Portrait of Dorian Gray is a story about a person's growth and self-discovery, their beliefs and development. The focus is on a young person rather than an older person. Basil was the only one who saw Dorian's great secret, the change in the painting. Dorian was so focused on the portrait that he sold his soul for eternal youth and worried that his soul would die. Was there any hope for salvation? Oscar Wilde thought The Picture of Dorian Gray was a story about the soul.
