Dark Skies 2013
Coming from the Dark, which was released to the audience for the first time on May 31, 2012, was nominated to be one of the solid horror productions of the past year. Dark Skies, in which Scott Stewart wrote the story and also worked as a director behind the camera, presents us with science fiction elements as well as moments full of fear and tension. Keri Russell, who we had the opportunity to watch as the lead role in 2014's Planet of the Apes Breaking Dawn movie, stars in the lead roles, and we see Jake Brennan and Josh Hamilton a lot with her. It currently has a score of 6.3 on IMDB with over 44,000 votes, which is pretty good for the horror thriller genre. With a small budget of 3.5 million dollars, the shooting was completed in the USA, and it closed the box office with a gross of over 26 million. The couple Daniel and Lacey are living their life in a quiet and peaceful small town, and they are very content with the way they are. However, not long after, they begin to be disturbed by unknown beings, and their beautiful marriage begins to turn into a nightmare. The couple, who has one son, is triggered by an obscure figure that begins to appear in the little boy's room. Unable to figure out what's going on, the Barret family later realize that they are in danger from a supernatural force. No one believes the family who tells the situation to their neighbors and they have to fight this bad situation on their own.
