Lia, a former educator enjoying her retirement in the beautiful state of Georgia, receives unexpected news from her youthful neighbor Achi. Achi informs Lia that her estranged niece Tekla, who now identifies as a transgender woman, has recently entered Turkey. Intrigued and determined to reconnect with Tekla, Lia embarks on a journey to Istanbul alongside the spontaneous Achi. As they navigate the vibrant streets of the city, they encounter a transgender lawyer named Evrim who becomes an unexpected ally in their quest to locate Tekla and bring her back home.
