Candy 2006

An Australian man named Dan falls into a deep heroin addiction with a woman named Candy. They are both very connected and creative people. This has been one of the things that made the relationship so strong. Dan saw the hedonist Casper as his mentor and is forced to look for him when he runs out of money. The lives of these two people, who want to live life to the fullest, slowly turn into a pessimistic picture. The cast of the movie, which is based on the Candy novel, is quite impressive. The film has both the visual and literary value of the book on which it is based and has been compared to Requiem for a Dream in terms of Australian cinema.
