Sam Phelan (Chris Hemsworth) and his wife, Leslie (Victoria Propheta), are a financially struggling young couple who can barely afford their house. While Sam is driving, the bank robbers chasing the police throw a bag of money in Sam's car and run away, but are later caught. With this huge amount of cash in their hands, Sam and his wife start receiving financial aid, while the imprisoned robber's mentally ill brother sets out to search for them all over Chicago.
