The movie tells the story of 14-year-old Darious. During summer vacation, Darious goes through turbulent events with his domineering father, Malcolm. But at the same time, he discovers the limits of his masculinity, thanks to a developing mentorship with the mysterious vagrant Porter. But when Darious learns Porter's true identity, he is caught in a conflict that will tear his family apart and threaten his safety.
