Bravo Two Zero 1999

This is the call sign of a British task force tasked with destroying Iraqi Scud missile launchers and fiber optic communication lines during the 1st Gulf War. They failed in the line of duty and were captured by Iraqi forces. Only one out of every 8 people walks 300 km. He managed to escape and cross into Syria. Three Britons died of cold and enemy fire, and the remaining four were later released. Two movies have been made about him and books have been written.
