Violet (Jennifer Tilly) is the sexy lover of a man named Sizer (Joe Pantoliano), who launders money for the mob. All goes well until Violet meets a woman named Corky (Gina Gershon). Corky served 5 years in prison for theft and was released on parole. He starts working in the apartment where Violet lives. Corky and Violet's friendship grows day by day. Violet slowly begins to see Corky's past life as her only chance to start a new life for herself. Together they plan to steal dollars and then run away. However, the house's account does not match the one on the market, and Caesar realizes that the money has disappeared. His reaction is not what they expected. Together they try to survive against Caesar's wrath.
