The terrible truths of a car accident! Jack Terry (Travolta) is a talented sound engineer. He makes a living by recording the unique sounds of horror movies, but one day he reluctantly records the sound of a car crash that kills a presidential candidate. Presidential candidate Sally (Nancy Allen), who was seriously injured in the same car, also has a young and beautiful mistress. Jack suddenly finds himself in a life full of secrets and fears as good as in his movies. Pretty soon only one of Jack and Sally will survive as this scandal will hit the highest levels of power like a shockwave.
