MacDonald, the sole survivor of the bank robbery, is captured in the shootout and enters prison. MacDonald, who suffers from severe memory loss, is placed in the psychology department of the prison. After 7 years in prison, he accepts an inmate's offer to escape from prison. After being given a special drug to restore his memory, he tries to put the pieces of the past back together and find the $15 million he buried. Meanwhile, the chief of police has to recover from the dangerous side effects of the FBI agent and the drug he is using. The 2018 Canadian-US co-production Backtrace is directed by director Brian A. Miller. movie starring Sylvester Stallone was released on 14 December 2018.
