A successful businesswoman and single woman, Kate has put her career in place of her personal life. At the age of 37, she decides to have a baby, but all her dreams are shattered when she learns that she has no chance of getting pregnant. However, continuing her decision, Kate wants a young girl named Angie to give birth to her, and when she finds out that Angie is pregnant, she forces herself to read books about motherhood and do research. Things get complicated when Angie becomes homeless and knocks on Kate's door. Two women who have had to wait for the birth of a child together and struggle with difficulties, understand that there are two types of families, some we are born with, some we create later.
