Pohwasogeuro - 71 Into the Fire 2010 Film The film tells a true event in the history of South Korea. In June 1950, war broke out between North Korea and South Korea. A group of young South Korean students with no military experience are sent to the front, including Gap Su (Kwone Sang-woo), who has been convicted of murder. The 71-man youth group was tasked with stopping the North Koreans near the Nakdong River.
