In a modern reimagining of the classic film "12 Angry Men", "12" takes place in present-day Moscow. Twelve diverse men are brought together to reach a unanimous decision on the destiny of a young Chechen man charged with the murder of his stepfather, a Russian military official. Huddled in a makeshift jury room located in a school gym, each man is given the spotlight to share their thoughts, feelings, and revelations. Meanwhile, the accused reflects on his harrowing experiences during war through poignant flashbacks as he anxiously anticipates the final judgment.
