A seductive and enjoyable adult counting comedy. Blake Edwards' 10 is a thought-provoking, sometimes overdone but always on target mischievous comedy about social rules, morals, and the midlife crisis. The target is 42-year-old composer George Webber (Dudley Moore), who has everything, everything for a beautiful woman (Bo Derek) who catches his attention during his wedding. By 10, Moore became a crowd favorite and launched a hit comedy series (Arthur, Mickey and Maude). Playing the patient girl George, Julie Andrews returned to the movies after a long hiatus and three years later starred in Victor/Victoria, another Blake Edwards film with her fiery and creative potential. Derek is considered by many to be the hottest and most enduring star of the '10s, and this movie elevated him to the position of the first major sex star of the '80s.
