You Can't Take It with You (1938)
Alice, the only one in the quirky Sycamore clan who could be considered remotely conventional, finds herself head over heels for Tony Kirby. Unfortunately, Tony's affluent banker father and pretentious mother are less than thrilled about their son's choice of partner. As the Kirbys are welcomed into the chaotic Sycamore household for dinner, tensions rise and expectations are shattered in ways that Alice never anticipated. Love may not conquer all in this clash of worlds and values.
