Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani chronicles the relationship between Bunny and Naina in two different time periods. First, after their college graduation, they face decisions to determine their own future. Then, in their twenties, they get back together, this time some of their dreams have come true while others still haven't. The film follows the adventures of these two characters, being influenced by each other, undergoing personal development, forming friendships and finally falling in love.
