Without Men (2011)
In a secluded mountain village in Latin America, the call to arms for a civil war leaves the women to fend for themselves. As the men depart, Rosalba steps forward, leading the women from traditional roles into the architects of an extraordinary matriarchal society. This all-female utopia flourishes in the absence of their male counterparts. However, when the men return, guided by an American journalist, they attempt to reclaim their authority. The ensuing struggle between the sexes ignites a profound and unforeseen transformation, challenging the very fabric of power and identity.
