Warlock (1989)

Seventeenth-century New England: witch hunter Giles Redferne apprehends a malevolent warlock, only to see him escape death through dark, otherworldly intervention. Catapulted into the vibrant, unfamiliar landscape of the 1980s, the sorcerer plots global annihilation. Redferne, undeterred, pursues his quarry through time, facing bewildering challenges in this radically altered world. Aided by a contemporary young woman, he must adapt and overcome, hoping to finally vanquish the warlock and avert impending doom. The fate of the world hangs precariously in the balance.
