Wajib (2017)

After spending countless years in Italy, Shadi finally makes his way back to his beloved hometown of Nazareth. However, this homecoming lacks the grandeur and excitement one would expect. Reluctantly, he returns solely to fulfill his "wajib," an obligatory duty, of distributing wedding invitations with his father for his sister's upcoming nuptials. As they find themselves frequently trapped in a car, often stuck in the midst of chaotic traffic, the underlying tension between father and son begins to boil, revealing the comical disparities that arise between two men who inhabit contrasting universes yet remain inseparably connected. With each passing moment, their bond is tested, exposing the intricate complexities of their relationship in a captivating manner.
