The Roman commander Titus Andronicus returns to Rome after a new victory. He is accompanied by the Gothic queen Tamora and her three sons as captives. Titus orders the three sons of the queen to be sacrificed in honor of the overjoyed Romans, but only the eldest son takes an oath. Horrible revenge on Tamora, who is married to the ascendant Saturn.
